SAVE THE DATE

SAVE THE DAY

Save the date cards or tradition is big in the US but not as popular here but I think it is catching on it's a good idea especially if you are getting married at busy time like the summer months or you you clash with another important date like the 29th of April ! when we got married back in the dark ages [ 1983 ] there was not a not of choice it was the local printers or packs of ready printed pads from the newsagent not now though there are tons of talented printers out here with a style to suit most tastes or themes here is a little round up on etsy and folksy

And these vintage style ones

And these quirky luggage labels cards

This is a good idea

VINTAGE MAGAZINE

VINTAGE MAGAZINE

Picked up this great magazine at the weekend loads of fabulous photos of fashion through the decades, it is a magazine aimed at the older woman but don't let that put you off . It is full of photos sent in by readers of their families or their own young days and does stand alone as a good social reference to fashion of the past century as seen and documented by real people but also showing the Royal weddings and some celeb fashion over the years. It is worth the £4.99 cost
