Bought this magazine today it is one of the better craft/make magazines this month it has a free pattern for a 60's style dress making your own can be a good way to get that vintage look if like myself you are not the slimmest of people, especially if you make them in vintage fabric


It has been a while since I have made any clothes in the past I used to make at least 50% of what I wore but for years it has been just bags cushion covers blinds etc. etc. think I might just have a little go , trawling etsy found these three examples all would make really cool examples of this dress some coloured tights and and cardie all sorted for Autumn

There is also this biker boy hat pattern I have never made a hat before it would be a good way to use up odds and sods of fabrics




It is not a cheap magazine but a good read , good articles about makers
